The logic used to control the flow of a specification is contained within Navigation
rules. These are freely defined within the “Smart-Templates” themselves
and stored at section level within the document. The rules are defined using standard
logical expressions (OR,NOT,AND and comparators >,<,<>,=). The navigation
rules are tested against the document in priority order and, if a successful test
is found, the target section defined by the rule becomes the next section in the
document.
Version management
Both specification and “Smart-Template” documents can be managed as
versions in order to reflect minor changes made during the document lifecycle. Alternatively,
different versions of a specification can be created to offer different options
for your proposed design.
